This load is a result of a lead from a friend of a friend of my wife. I guess the gentleman collected for quite a while and had a few hundred pieces. After he passed, his family didn't know anything about them but didn't want to throw them out. I visited and quickly looked through all of the insulators neatly wrapped in newspaper. All were clean and VNM, mostly CD 145s, 152s and 154s. I offered some cash but they insisted that I just take them. Even as common as they are, it has been fun going through them. A few have some character and I have a pile of CD 145 Brookfields to help me learn about CREBS, shop numbers, etc.
