GE I-30-S - scarce variant

This dates to the second half of 1941. Note the frame, magnet, and baseplate are all factory-painted GRAY instead of the normal aluminum paint. The disk shaft is of brass instead of aluminum as well. The register is also plated brass instead of aluminum.

I strongly suspect this was produced in December 1941, just after the bombing of Pearl Harbor, as GE and other companies began switching over to wartime production.
