I have nearly finished this lightbox I adapted from a former bookshelf. The basic structure was ideal for conversion. The wooden shelves were replaced with glass. I fitted five 2' fluorescents and painted the interior white to reflect the light. I made a mistake with the plexiglass and ordered opaque white which lets no light pass. I have since ordered a translucent sheet which has yet to arrive so for now there is no diffuser but the effect is still there.
