After finding the deteriorated pins a few weeks ago with Fred Locke markings on the bolt heads in Arizona, I decided to dig through my "random wood pins" box out in the shed and check them more closely ... Over the years I have collected an odd assortment of new old stock and clean used indoors wood pins from various sources /abandon buildings/ shows etc . I knew I had a couple of these reinforced wood pins out in the shed I had recovered from an abandoned transformer house in Utah at one point ... These all dated from the Hemingray Provo era . I had never bothered to clean any of them up and just tossed them in a box for unknown future use... Sure enough after I cleaned them one had the Fred Locke marking on the top of the bolt... I suspect more of you out there may have these pins so check them carefully ... You may have a 100+ year old Fred Locke gem in your pin box! [ id=495413308]
