The hydro has been upgrading the line on my road beginning in late August. A few weeks ago, I was able to ask the hydro for some of hardware and insulators. In total, I collected a 4-foot crossarm, two fuses, two lightening arrestors (one of which is made of clear glass by Pyrex), 6 pole top insulator pins, and 21 porcelain insulators. I even collected a modern composite insulator, which one of the linemen generously gave to me. As a result, the total number of insulators in my collection has increased to 208. Yes, the insul-bug has successfully bitten me good!! I give special thanks to the linemen who have generously increased the size of my collection, and especially to my family who have supported and helped me!!
