Here are 3 shots of some box-type deadends, on a 12kv line coming from a powerhouse. The three poles are all on the same line, about 50 feet from one-another, where the line bends around a corner. Does anyone know about the construction of these? The wood box seems to defeat the purpose of the insulators inside.
