A small substation that steps down 12.5kV from a coop system to serve a small municipal utility at 2400V. Note the grasshopper switches up above and the three-shot cutouts on the back side of the substation. This muni has had a long-term program underway for a number of years to convert the whole system to 12.5kV and get rid of the 2400V. Also, the building to the left is the old power plant that served the town from 1930 to 1953.
