2016 was a year that I focused on adding character pieces to my O.V.G.Co. speciality collection. It was with a very heavy heart that I added this gem as the last purchase I would ever make from Dan Ling [id=484264967].

This piece is exhibiting a very interesting damage feature on the top of the dome. The impact point is at the top of a perfectly smooth cone of glass. When the glass sheared off from the dome it did so in such a way so as to leave a perfectly smooth surface and a slight depression around the perimeter of the 'chip'. It is so smooth that when Dan listed this piece he noted it as a mold removal defect.
