Aqua CD 106 Hemigray No 9 SDP on a sidepin which was nailed to a softwood like fir or redwood, and which has been partially embedded in the tree by being overgrown.

This is embossing [250]: "HEMINGRAY/No 9" on front and "PATENT/MAY 2 1893" on back.

Glass is 1/3 buried in the wood, but is undamaged aside from the usual chipped sharp little drips.

Some stranded wire is still attached to the insulator, and it's partially embedded too.

Sidepin was nailed to the tree with round spikes, which are still present (but rusty).
