For those headed along Interstate 40, in eastern New Mexico, the "Blue Hole" in Santa Rosa is worth a quick stop. This deep artesian well is filled with crystal-clear water. And, it's less than a mile from the freeway. Unfortunately, budget constraints prevented me from buying anything at the insulator show. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it. Those bubbles rising in the water, have absolutely nothing to do with any purchase that I allegedly made. My buddy kept warning me, not to be totin' it everywhere, like a binky. Actually, those bubbles are from scuba divers, which can be seen, far below the surface. The well is so deep, that a local diving school uses it for training. That square far under the water, is a diving cage.
