There is so much to see in this part of New Mexico---like the fantastic scenery along this section of U.S. 285, near Santa Fe. My buddy wanted to visit that town, on our quick, one-day excursion. But, personally, I found Santa Fe rather disappointing---a kind of snooty, upscale Disneyland, where the rich "beautiful people" go to be seen. This felt especially true of the old town square, which seemed more like Beverly Hills, than the Old West.
