Rich dark brown sorghum molasses color glaze that looks almost like Brookfield might have sent over some fire brick flakes to mix in it. Entire glazed surface has this wow effect, even in the recess of the skirt. Glaze surface is smooth and not "gritty" as you find in some examples. One of the neatest glazes I have encountered in 51 years of collecting.

Mint condition. I find no distractions to take away from this fabulous piece.
