As you can see, the cabinet sits in front of a 'stationary' glass door, i.e., really just a big window. I wanted to maximize the area of light coming in to make the insulators really pop. The light can come in from the east on and angle, straight in from the south, or even from the west on the opposite angle. That way all the pieces, even those on the edges get direct rays at some point during the day.
