I found a crossarm with about 8 of these one it while hunting in an EXTREMELY swampy & remote area some time ago. After scrubbing the gunk for an hour, I realized that this was a DOMINION - 42! Hey! It's a better idea than what I had while it was a blob of swamp muck in the wild. Anyways, the special thing is that this guy has a date code suggesting he was made in the year 1950, yet he still sports a rusty IRON tie wire, which I thought became defunct towards the late 19th century when it was found that copper was a better conductor. What does this say about Canadian telegraphy?
