A wooden terminal box is seen on the backside of this pole which combined openwire pairs to combined cable leading to the left, that probably led to this community's central telephone office. Note the insulators mounted on the underside of the crossarms. I am unable to determine if they are actual pintypes or lag-screw type porcelain varieties. Since they are not physically in line with the upper pins, they are not underside Browns' ponies mounted on the same pins as the top insulators.
