These photos appeared in my local paper this week. The story goes that Pearland Parks and Recreation staff found them during a clean-up of old office space. They were taken in 1972, most likely in the summertime. A few of the images featured the Santa Fe track through Pearland. I wanted to capture them here before they were deleted from the newspaper website.

This photo was taken facing west down Broadway Street. The focus isn't the best, but a four-arm pole can be seen to the left of the cantilever crossing signal.
