Hey... I stole the line from the 7-Up commercial... ;)

It has been suggested more than once that insulator collectors should also become bottle collectors, even if their "collection" is just one bottle. And a very specific bottle at that.

So when I went to the Saturday flea market and saw these being sold for $1 (pop and all!), I had to snag one. This 7-Up bottle is from 1977, commemorating the Portland Trailblazer's winning basketball season. Looks like they won the championship finals, but blew whatever basketball's equivalent of the World Series is called. :o

But I bought the bottle to use as a color reference... I don't even like basketball. Collectors who have or are interested in green insulators need to scrounge up a nice old 7-Up bottle. Besides, it looks good along with all the other glass. :)
