I built this display pole to remind me of all the good times I had "picking" the abandoned, open wire, telephone lines in my area. Sadly, many of which have been completely removed over the past decade. All the insulators are types that were commonly found on these lines; except for the purple, CD 154, Whitall Tatum on the lower right. That represents the one that I always 'hoped' to find still on a pole!
