This is an odd size for a newly discovered McLaughlin Glass Company bottle. It is 1.5 -2 gallons in capacity with a narrow opening. Embossing reads "The Los Angeles Puritas Ice & Cold Storage Co." The residual paper label appears to be illegible. Found in the Midwest. What was it doing out there? Wonder what it stored?
