This interesting piece showed up at our annual Yankee Polecat Insulator Club outing this year. I've never seen another suspension like this one. Apparently it was "pulled" from the assembly line for whatever reason. Note the indent around the lower cap area. Also of interest is that this piece has no sand around the area where its hardware normally would be attached. It is unmarked except for a few numbers in green ink on its underside near the pinhole.
