Here is an insulator seldom seen; a British U-1981A "Langdon". This pattern was designed back in 1881 by William Langdon as an insulator for terminal work. To my knowledge, this pattern is almost exterminated now and very hard to find. If anybody out there have some information about "Langdons" to share with me, it would be very welcome!
