Monday evening I went out to mow the lawn, and found the pole I put up to display some of my porcelain insulators back around 1999-2001 had fallen over. Unbeknownst to me it has rotted inside the base. Amazingly only 7 insulators and a lightning arrester were damaged. Unfortunately one insulator was a good one (at least in my book). When it fell it also ripped the plug off of an extension cord I had running to one of my RR signals via it. Not sure if I'll get another piece of pole (I have one I can use), or just get some treated 6X6's.
