Here is a CD 259 EIN [010] (F-Skirt) CABLE (Base) OAKMAN M'F'G.CO. BOSTON/PAT'D. JUNE 17, 1890, AUG. 19, 1890. {Inside of outer skirt is threaded} BE in a gorgeous light blue. Condition is fair with an open base bubble in front, and the base embossing is considerably worn. There is an annealing fracture in the rear skirt and a smaller one on the top of the dome in the saddle groove. A couple of flakes off the right side of the middle ridge and a few scattered pecks here and there sound worse than it is in hand, and all can all be seen in the photos. In addition to the front skirt bubble below CABLE for character, there is also a line of milky steam the goes up from the rear ridge over the dome and down the left side into the front skirt that shows up nicely when underlit.
