In response to Keith's question, I'm posting what I believe to be the light aqua version of the blotted out Jan 25th 1870 patent date piece in the guide. Though you can't see it because it's very faint, part of JAN and part of 1870 are visible in the blot out section on the skirt right at the base of the threads in the photo. I spoke to Keith about this and gave my opinion that this is a Brookfield piece because it resembles their glass and because Brookfield more so than others embossed the JAN 25th 1870 patent date on their pieces. I would like to see Keith's piece alongside this one for glass and color comparison. So Frustieri, what do you think?
