Just about finished with my East window power glass display. Hurricanes, tornadoes, flooding, fire and earthquakes are some of the biggest challenges facing collectors.

Here in Southern Oregon it is Earthquakes. I decided to get proactive and build an earthquake friendly inside display for some of my power glass. I designed and began welding base support pin holders and then bolting each one to the anchored display. There is a lock screw holding each pin into the steel pin holders. Nothing can move. The entire house would have to fall down before these insulators are damaged.

My morning coffee is OH so colorful now. Still have to mount the large Pyrex glass.
