I acquired these a couple of days ago and happen to think they're pretty cool. They are original shipping crates, probably from the 1930s (thanks Dustin), of Pyrex power insulators from Corning to Consumers Power Co. in Charlotte, MI. The printing on the crates indicates that each one contained 6 No. 441 insulators (CD 327) with "no static" (carnival) coating. These are fairly good sized pieces and the crates are fairly large. There is an adhered label on each one with installation warnings and instructions.

One or both will be available for purchase at Springfield (depending on if I decide to keep one or not). If someone had a couple CD 327s it would make a great display.
