Here is the head of the 3 1/4+ inch long 1944 date nail - it is a type 07 or 39. The PG ID chart shows both having a diamond on the shank just below the head, and says only 43 and before are type 07, but neither drawing shows the angled grip marks below the diamond. So which is it?
