St. Thomas, Ontario - 1875. Looks like possibly a 742 on the ridge pin at the top and maybe a 123 on the side pin. Seems out of place though. Could be a tin covered wade?? Update from Rob Lloyd "there are 2 742 types in that StThomas photo, a flat and a round dome one and that straight side one sure looks like it is a Ponds Patent (wooden with a zinc cap)" Thanks Rob, I hadn't looked at this picture in a while and forgot about the 742.3 on the sidepin at the right hand side of the pole.
