These are two gorgeous italian Paderno type insulators for MV rescued in Umbria region not far from Terni. They seem to be very old, around 1905. The specimen on the left has a more "Lily Shell" shape than the other on the right and for me, it is the most beautiful type of Paderno ever rescued. In all likelihood these two types of Paderno were the original equipment of the line, in fact we also found some later insulators as MIVA A335 CA in Pyrex and dark green glass and some "cross top" Paderno marked Ginori of 1928. Note also the iron towers that are very old and rusty, my favourite!
