Shown is a Westinghouse type-CAH thermal demand watthour meter. After a good clean-up, I wired this meter up to a 1500 watt space heater and the thermal demand meter read exactly 1.5 kilowatts after the 15 minute interval. Meter also has an external sun shield coating. This coating keeps heat from the sun from interfering with the thermal demand readings.
