Facing north, right after a bit of snow.

All of the windows in my c.1780 Cape Cod-style house that I have owned for over 30 years were replaced (by me) by 12-over-12's...custom made with matching 24-pane, one-piece wooden storm windows.

All of my restoration work has been in keeping with the originial, inside-and-out.

The beat goes on...the upkeep and my attention to fine detail is an everyday and sometimes daunting task.

However I look back upon any day's work as an enjoyable accomplishment as any restoration project's progress should be...no matter how big or small.
