A LILCO 23kv to 4kv sub originally built in the 1920s using small single-ph. transformers with three-ph. transformers added later to step down to 13kv in the 1950s. Taken down in the 1970s when a new sub (69kv to 13kv) was built nearby and 4kv wasn't needed. 1965 photo.
