Back in the fall of 1989 Bill Ashcraft & I picked this piece from a pole along the ATS&F just south of Springer, NM. It was just before sunrise at the end of October and the cold made our hands stick to the glass. We found other swirled 145's on the next couple of poles, but all after that were green-aqua with barely discernable swirls. Later that weekend, along with Tom & Lynda K., Duane Davenport, and Danny Wallace, we found a few more of these across the CO border, along with some steel-blue W.F.G. tolls on a telephone line... overall, a most memorable weekend searching for glass in the wild!
