What happen to the molding of the threads of this CGICo? 1

Normal CGI pony to the left, droopy threaded example to the right. There is no damage or deformity to the outside of the CGI that would indicate what happen to the inside threads. Check out the side view of the threads id=[391524225]

I thought this was the most reasonable response given the submissions. Thanks to Rich Wentzel.

About those droopy threads – the glass was too hot when the piece was molded. When the insulator was flipped to sit on the conveyor to the annealing lehr, the overheated inner surfaces remained liquid hot by radiating off themselves in the absence of air, which allowed the molded features to slide down. The outer surface was close enough to the proper molding temperature that exposure to air kept it from being equally as fluid as the inside.
