There is nothing subtle about a big yellow school bus, and it sure got the attention of our neighbours, when It drove down the street and dropped off 25 kids, plus teachers and some parents. The kids had a great time, and really, truth be told, so did I. Fantastic kids, and they were really curious and interested in learning about insulators.

Here we have Mrs Kanigan making sure there were no kids left behind, before the bus leaves.

One funny incident, just as everyone was getting on the bus, two of the boys tried to smuggle "Contra", a huge 5 yr old Rottweiller, belonging to our neighbour, onto the bus. Contra was ready to go, but got busted at the last moment by the driver, and had to stay with me.

Contra had been in the field all afternoon getting lots of patting from the kids.

We are making arrangements to do this again in the spring, and maybe bring a couple more classes. Should be fun, and I'm looking forward to it.
