Don't rely on bubble wrap

Both insulators were tightly wrapped by 2-3 layers of bubble wrap but as you can see one of the insulators did not survive. Many people think bubble wrap is the best way to protect and insulator but I have seen many cases where you cannot trust bubble wrap. Yes, you can put more layers and put cardboard between items, etc., but my main complaint is most people think bubble wrap will protect delicate glass and porcelain insulators and they use it without full comprehension of the shortcomings. It gives people a false sense of security. Please reconsider using bubble wrap when shipping insulators or at least add additional protection such as cardboard around the bubble-wrapped insulator and plenty of packing between the item and the box so it doesn't shift around and get close to the box. Odds are the box will be dropped or thrown across the room.
