I thought some may enjoy this pic from a recent trip we took. I am also into old highways. This is the 1932 Bixby Creek Bridge, one of many historic bridges along Highway 1 on the central California coast. You can see the telephone cable crossing below the bridge, this was once one crossarm of open wire, I recall many years ago when the wire was still up, farther up the coast from here. Like to be the tech with a repair on that pole, huh? (click "view original" for a better look)
