Years ago, up in Canada when i was in my early teens, my brother and i did a lot of deer huntin, back in the back 40,s.On a resent hunt fer an old telegraph line, which was on the whitetail grounds, An area on our travels, was dotted with large Beech trees, which gave us a reference point to our location, and to certian deer runs, what, s unusual was the trees where always scarred with Bear claw marks, when the Makwa, s would climb the trees fer Beech-nuts to fatten up fer the winter...
