I was under the assumption that the blotouts on the back of these insulators replaced AM TEL & TEL that was once embossed on that side. Pictured here is a Brookfield and A T & T Co. with the same XO at the top of dome. But I am not questioning that AT & T Co was blotted out. What I would like to know is was AM TEL & TEL Co. blotted out on any? The majority of what insulators I have in my collection are not at all the same as the ones I gather the blotouts covered AT & T. The four I have like the AT & T all have a skirt that come down much straighter then the other 20. The olive green with amber swirls to the left with sharp drips is an example of the lesser slop I am refering to. What did the blotouts cover up with all I have with the lesser side slope? Anyone out there know for sure? I have had and have many. many AM TEL & TEL's but have never seen one with the same slope as the majority of the lesser sloped version and that is basically the reason I ask.

Note to Don : It would be very nice if the price guide stated what the three blotout listings covered like the B beehives where the blotouts cover B.G.M. CO. I'm sure I'm not the only soul that ever tried figuring out what is what and you still wouldn't need to have a forklift to move the price guide.
