ICONers, Stephen Bobb provided this picture of underground cable holders when he responded to my question last week. He and Gene Kingsley of England both believe the items in question to be cable holders, but before we hand out any prizes, Norman Gates supports my theory that these could be 3rd rail insulators.

I would appreciate other opinions thoughts, and suggestions, as at the moment, we have a tie, and Glenn Drummond is holding off on making the tie breaking decision.
