ALL HAVE BEEN SOLD:

Here's a great opportunity to own one or more Brooks ramshorns from the famed Mike Guthrie Early & Unusual Telegraph Insulators Collection. You can view most of these at: http://www.insulators.info/articles/early/6brooks.htm (use the back/forward arrows in the link's pic to access additional information)

Bottom left to right in the photo above:

1. **SOLD** Brooks Pat Aug 6 1867, aqua glass insert, excellent condition. This is the actual example pictured bottom left in the link provided above. $95, plus actual shipping. **SOLD**

2. **SOLD**The rare stamped or incused CPRR version. The inner cavity is filled with resin to hold the ramshorn shank in place. This was evidently found with the inner glass sleeve missing, so resin was used as a replacement. Otherwise, metal shell is in good uncleaned condition. Incusing is weakly stamped, as most are, and very closely resembles the example pictured bottom right in the link provided above. A $300+ item without the resin repair. A bargain at $85, plus actual shipping. **SOLD**

3. **SOLD**Almost appears as the unmarked version, but very light stamping or incusing is evident, with only 'R.R.' clearly seen and the date partially apparent. This appears to be a very weakly stamped CPRR Brooks as listed in item 2 above. Contains the more desirable light sca glass insert and overall condition is excellent. $185, plus actual shipping.**SOLD**

4. **SOLD**Here's the very scarce Brooks ramshorn with the word "Patent" spelled out. This is the actual example pictured bottom center in the link provided above. Contains the more desirable light sca glass insert and overall condition is excellent. $225, plus actual shipping.**SOLD**

5. **SOLD**Unembossed variant. There is some speculation that these are the incused variants that were unsuccessfully marked. Whatever the case, they are considered a variant of their own and quite scarce. This is the actual example pictured top right in the link provided above. Contains the more desirable light sca glass insert and overall condition is excellent. $195, plus actual shipping.

Upper group of three pieces in the above photo:

6. **SOLD** An interesting and educational exploded view of the three pieces used to build a Brooks ramshorn. The aqua glass sleeve is damaged and repaired, but nonetheless provides a view of this seldom seen component. Same standard embossing as item 1 above. $45, plus actual shipping. **SOLD**
