Chicago Jumbo Insulator Show, Held in St Charles. My Display of " The Power Insulator in America" I have been running across some old photos shots in a past Crown Jewels, I think Sept 1973 issue? Note the very tall electric switch with 10 purple cocheran bells in it. Basically the same size as a Pyrex stacker base. It was removed from a Montana switch station back in those early years .

That was my best power insulator along with the amber bases to the CD 248/311/311 Hemingray 79 stackers, I had two sets then. Just wish I had a set of those mint bases now. I had many of the Pyrex and all of the Montana Insulators at that time. A Locke with glass base, CD 249 "O" Provos, CD 304/310 Green Coolie with snow, and a Green with amber swirled CD 303/310 Hemingray 76 Muncie. This basically was the same display I had at the 3rd. National in Kansas City held there that year too. Boy was my 67 Chevy Station Wagon loaded down. Never will do that again.
