Very different suspension line construction.

Have been looking at these for years now on road trips through Central Oregon and this time I remembered the camera. This is an extremely high wind advisory area all year long which might account for this type of construction.

The laminated timbers slide into the metal base's at approximately a 45 degree angle. I have seen these in Washington state also . I believe those had Pyrex carnival suspensions.
