On a trip up to Washington this fall, I stopped and took some pictures of some old carrier toll line poles still standing up off the highway, wires long gone. Remote Northern Calif. I remember when this line was somewhat intact, now only a few poles remain. I also took some more pictures of the DBR line, a line I posted back in 2006 as it was being wrecked in Central Nevada. A few sections still stand here in N. California, not far from the poles pictured here. I had a lot of positive Emails about the DBR story, so I'll post those pictures sometime soon.
