Digital Color Manipulation Within Same Photo

It's important to keep in mind that photographs online can be easily changed. Even specific objects within a picture can be manipulated, so as to appear more "genuine". Here is an example I created.

(LEFT) Original photograph copied from ICON; original colors.

(RIGHT) Altered photograph. The CD 102 on the left has been colored purple, and the CD 123 on the right has been changed to a beautiful green. However, the CD 123 in the center has not been changed.

Notice in the altered photograph the original yellow reflection of the CD 102 remains visible on the center CD 123. If I had corrected that, or cropped out the CD 102, the new altered photograph would appear even more genuine.
