I picked this off a pole in January along with several other Hemi 40's. I didn't notice how odd (in my limited experience) this was until I was cleaning it. To start with, the inner skirt extends down to the level of the drip points. Also, the outer skirt is warped to the point that most of the insulator sits on the inner skirt. I assume this is because the insulator was "underpressed" at the factory because it has decent dome glass. The other unusual thing is that it appears to have a blot out where the 40 would normally be. The distance between "No" and "40" is 1 inch where the gap on most 40's is a half inch or less. See next picture. I think this is a curious little piece and definitely different. I would appreciate any comments from the Hemi 40 experts out there. Thanks
