Interestingly, I have another one of these brackets (sans extension) with three tan dry process Thomas pieces like these greenies, suggesting these might be original period installs. A few of these pins remain in service in alleys around town, but number less than half a dozen. I knew this one was going to disappear any day, but repeated attempts to get one of my linecrew friends to take the time to retrieve it proved futile, so with magic in my back pocket, the *spirits* mysteriously saved this from the power yard scrap dumpster.
