This cast iron bracket has been mated to a six foot piece of gas pipe to create the poletop extension you see here. The bracket was typically used slipped into the outermost crossarm pinhole and run perpendicular to the arm, dropping feeds to building strikes. I have seen newer versions of the configuration seen here, but made using angle iron and short shank cob pins. This is much older and shows it. For closer shot hit "next".
