This collection has been sold for $3000 on 4/27/10

Some nice glass in this display. I took this pic during my previous trip to Canada last fall. Last Friday I went to buy all the best insulators in the massive collection for a sum of $3000 US bucks. I expected to cross back into the States with at least 600 insulators out of about 3000 to choose from. That did not happen due to my own stupidity when presenting my passport. I didn't recall the sellers last name and told the border guard I met the guy on the internet via Craigslist. The reason my entry was denied was that I had a DUI back in the early 90's. Oh Canada, OH Well !! It's your economies loss. Anyhow this collection is still up for grabs and I'm sure the owner will sell the entire collection for just slightly more then what I was going to pay for just a protion. I just didn't want to have to make two trips back across the border myself. There are roughly 50-75 insulators in the collection that would have made my offer of $3000 worth it to me. All the rest of the 600 insulators would have been 3-5 insulators. Most of the insulators in the collection are Canadian. There are also a good number of high priced American Insulators of various CD's being stored on the owners property. Below I am posting the contact information for any interested parties along with a CD list I'm aware of what are in the collection. Just keep in mind the owner will not sell individual insulators so if your interested you'll have to make any offer for the bulk of the insulators he has. Good luck if you go for them. I will be adding a link to show how this latest adventure of mine ended. Even though Canada wouldn't let me in I did not do to bad afterall. Steve Kun Port Colbourne, Canada Phone # 905 835 5585

If you call the above phone number don't give up too easily. The man is 68 years old and doesn't always answer. He spends lots of time outside. Sometimes it is best to call in the evening hours between 7-10 PM. Call him for directions to his home up in Ontario before contacting me please. I will be unable to give his address without his permission to anyone. He has my cell phone number. Have him call me with your name. That should work.
