Looking back uphill from about 30 feet off the ground to show how we left the line with the limbs and trees cut back. I have had the bad experience of repairing openwire lines and ROW's, where the nice looking and visible line drew the wrong attention and crews immediately came out and took the line out. With this in mind, my strategy was to just cut a small, clean "hole" through the woods that would not draw attention to the line. Besides, I always liked following lines like this in the old days.
